The Board of Housing Plus Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Maria Woods as Chief Executive Officer, following a national search. Maria’s role will encompass leadership of Housing Plus and Plus Community.
Maria is well known within the organisation. Since joining Housing Plus Group in September 2024 as Executive Director of Services, she has provided outstanding leadership across the Domestic and Family Violence, Community Services and, more recently, Housing Services teams. Her strategic vision, collaborative leadership and strong focus on delivering meaningful outcomes for communities have made a significant contribution to the organisation, underpinned by a deep commitment to its purpose and values.
The Board wishes to thank Bryan Mason for his steady and capable leadership as Interim CEO during the transition, and wishes him well in his next appointment.
The Board is confident Maria is exceptionally well placed to lead Housing Plus Group into its next chapter, and looks forward to working with her to continue building safer, stronger communities for the people it serves.
