On Saturday, 12 October 2024, Housing Plus celebrated its 7th annual White Tie Ball, gathering over 300 guests from the Orange community at the Orange Ex-Services Club to raise a record-breaking $120,000 in support of The Orchard Orange. This year’s Ball far exceeded the 2023 total of $94,000, marking a significant milestone in the event’s history.

The Orchard Orange, operated by Plus Community, part of Housing Plus, provides safe, purpose-built accommodation and crucial support services for women and children escaping domestic and family violence. As a facility that operates without government funding, The Orchard Orange relies on community-driven events like the White Tie Ball to continue its mission of providing a safe haven for vulnerable families.
