On Thursday 11 June 2026, the Western NSW Training Awards were held in Orange, celebrating outstanding achievements in vocational education and training across the region.
We are proud to share that 2025 CHIA NSW Cadet, Leanne Kennewell, was named Vocational Trainee of the Year – an incredible and well-deserved accomplishment.
Since completing her cadetship, Leanne has transitioned into a full-time role as a Housing Officer, based in our Orange office, where she continues to make a meaningful impact.
Leanne will now progress to the NSW State Training Awards in August. We congratulate her on this outstanding achievement and wish her every success in the next stage of the competition.
