Housing Plus is pleased to announce the completion of construction on four new homes, dedicated to offering affordable housing solutions for the Orange community with funding provided by the NSW Government’s Together Home Transition Program.
These new homes aim to address a pressing need within the community, with low rental vacancies and zero properties on the market under $300 per week, there are currently no affordable options for those on income support payments. This scarcity of housing options is compounded by steady increases in median rents, underpinning the urgency of providing more accessible accommodation solutions for residents.

The new homes boast a 7-star rating under the Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme, resulting in reduced energy costs for residents. Built to the Silver Standard of the Livable Housing Design Guidelines, these homes offer optimal accessibility, allowing residents to age in place comfortably.
